How To Boycott Without Burning Out

It's imperative to understand that the boycott is effective as it is if you're already doing the following:

˚Not Logging In (to tank their DAU) - and if you can't help but log in, that's okay! Just limit your time in-game

˚Not Spending In-Game (to tank their revenue) - the 'rule' is, if you want to pull on that banner you should use your in-game resources first. However if you need to spend, THEN you should do so towards the last 3 days of the banner so you don't contribute to the 'spike' in their revenue charts. Money talks, so do their charts, and their influence on the overseas market

˚Taking Breaks It's important to step away as soon as you notice you're getting depressed/anxious/triggered from CN updates, official LADS posts, and other boycotters. Get a nice drink, get your favourite treat, spend time with family/friends/your pets, play another game. We're still here! Nothing has changed and you don't need to be chronically online watching news flood in from everywhere that isn't the official LADS social media accounts.

˚Stay Calm Having a knee-jerk reaction is a natural response, especially if it's an official LADS post, but there's nothing we can do or control except for our own feelings. If you get triggered, walk away, take a break, do something else. For me? I've gotten used to their surprise nothing-burger announcements that get ratio'd to hell lmao

Why I'm not going to stress over this boycott

Firstly, the official letter on Weibo:

Okay so we can all agree that communication with the global player-base is poor, however on LADS Official Weibo SuperTopic, The Love & Deepspace Production Team (with their official seal) released a statement that addressed the controversies behind Valko before he was cancelled. Warning us to 'pay attention to screening, to avoid being used by malicious individuals or organisations, and to bcome a 'tool' for the benefit of others, and even cause losses'. The letter ends by encouraging feedback to through their official channels if players suspect malicious smearing behaviour. This to me shows how prepared they were to protect Valko and it pains me to see how these malicious individuals/organisations got the CN government involved. Are they staying quiet due to ongoing legal proceedings? Probably. Is that why they're not talking? Most likely. But they can't continue operating in the state that they are now with a broken game and broken revenue chart to prove it. Historically, this company has responded to boycotts - however this scenario is completely different as the government DID get involved.

Secondly, Valko was 'cancelled' but his content are still up:

His PV (though hidden), music (on streaming platforms), official posts on X - are all still up. If he were truly cancelled and black-listed, we wouldn't be streaming Tameless Territory on Spotify and getting it to 3 million plays, or being able to talk to about him on official platforms. They have blocked slander against the company and his name being used in bad-faith (on CN platforms by the CDG), which shows that they are still protecting him by suppressing those topics. To me, if I can still see him, hear him, and talk about him - he's not 'cancelled'.

Thirdly, I'll stop boycotting the second Infold releases a statement:

That's it, that's all there is - until they actually address their domestic and global player-base, I won't stop. I'm not logging in, I refuse to pay a cent for a company who shoots their creative integrity down by whatever the hell they're doing. Logging in now feels hollow, we were promised Valko, we were supposed to have a complete story - but we get a shell, broken code, and empty spaces of what SHOULD have been in-game. So, no - I'm not going to panic or let myself drown in rumours until the official channels address us formally.
